Praying Parents is a small group of parents that meet to pray for their children.  This group meets for a meal and then spends time in prayer for their children.  It is currently a closed group that meets on Tuesday but we plan to have other groups beginning on a bi-monthly basis.  Jesus said, “Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says”. Mark 11:23.

Thriving is a series of 4 twelve week modules that offer hope to those suffering from painful attachments, weakened relationships, abuse, spiritual dryness, trauma, and addictions.

Restarting is the first module in Thriving and is a revolutionary, solution-based approach to building joy, receiving inner healing and developing life-giving relationships.  Restarting offers hope for those that have tried other approaches and still feel hurt, empty, alone and ashamed of their struggles and behaviors. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever.”  Eph. 3:20-21.

Belonging is the second module in the “Thriving-Recover your Life” solution based approach for building joy, receiving inner healing, and developing life-giving relationships.  In Belonging we will learn to find a safe place to belong.  God made us to be relational and we need to be with others to thrive.  Addictions, trauma, abuse, and harmful relationships can block our growth, maturity and living the abundant life.  Join us as we learn to retrain our brains, synchronize with others in healthy relationships, and grow in maturity so we can receive and give love.  Belonging is for those in all stages of recovery as well as mature believers.

Boundaries is a class to teach you when to say “yes” and when to say “no” for good self care and to take control of our lives in a healthy way.  Boundaries is a video series presented by Drs. Townsend and Cloud. This support group offers practical help and encouragement to all who seek a healthy, balanced life and presents insight and wisdom for those seeking to deal with their inability to say no.  God Himself sets boundaries.  He tells us in His Word what appropriate behavior is and what it is not, and within His boundaries there is great peace and freedom.

“For this is the will of God, that by doing good you may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men—as free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.”  1 Peter 3:15-16

Untangling Relationships is for those who are currently, or have been, in a relationship with someone with addictions or control issues of any kind. Many times in our lives we do not know how to relate in a healthy way to others.  We may find ourselves allowing others to control us, or we are trying to control others.  We want to be believers led by the Holy Spirit!  This small group enables us to relate to one another in healthy ways and to walk in the Spirit.  “For those who live according to the flesh set there minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”  Rom. 8:5-6.  At this time, this support group is for women only.
