Please Note:
Crying: Sometimes children cry when being left by parents. We understand and expect it. Our workers will re-direct the attention of your children in most cases the crying will stop a few minutes after you leave. So please don’t worry. If your child continues to cry for an extended period of time we will page you (see pager for more details).
Volunteers: All of our volunteers have been screened for safety and been taught nursery procedures. Parents who use the nursery on a regular basis are asked to work in the nursery once every 4-6 weeks.
Ages: This nursery is for Children ages 0-3 years of age. We do not allow older siblings to attend the nursery with their younger siblings, as we are staffed and would like to see those older siblings attend age appropriate classes of their own.
Sanitation: We strive for excellence in the cleanliness of our children’s rooms. The toys and equipment are regularly wiped down or washed.
Incident Reports: You will be given an incident report should your child fall or get hurt in any way. In addition, you will receive an incident report should any other problems occur in the nursery. |
What do you need to do?
Check in/Pick up: All Nursery age children must be checked in by a parent or guardian. Please pick up your children directly following the service. It is important for us to allow our nursery volunteers to leave 15 minutes following the service. Thank you for your cooperation!
Pagers: Each parent who checks in a child in the nursery will be given a pager. The pagers are to be warn so that they can be seen and felt during the service. If you pager goes off please come to the nursery and speak with one of our nursery coordinators.
Feeding: If your infant or newborn needs to be fed during the service we have available for you a nursing mothers room and a new born baby room. The toddlers receive snacks during the service. Please let us know if your child has any food allergies so that we can assure a healthy nursery.
