Joe & Esther began their ministry right out of Language School in January of 1979 in Juarez, Mexico which is across the border from El Paso, TX. The first project was building a church in a village outside of Juarez near the Rio Grande River.  In March of 1980 a church in another village was turned over to them
which they are still pastoring. Several mission churches have been started as outreaches of the second church.

Joe was Sectional President (overseer) of churches with the Assemblies of God for about 4½ years but resigned that position in 2001 when he was asked
to serve as the Academic Director of Antioch Bible Institute which was founded
in 1970. He also began teaching classes at that time and it has been a delight
to work with the students who are preparing to serve the Lord as Pastors, Teachers and Christian workers. In June of 2006 he was elected as Director
of the Bible Institute and also continues teaching. At present there are approximately 65 enrolled in evening and Saturday classes.

Joe has also been asked to be the Coordinator for Continuing Education classes toward a Bachelor's Degree in Theology which are held on campus
once a month as well as for the Master's Degree classes which are held the
first 3 weeks in August 2006.

He has been very involved with the Casas por Cristo organization which
coordinates groups that come from the US and Canada to build houses for
the needy in Mexico. He serves as Advisor to the board so has regular
meetings with them.

Esther serves as Treasurer for the church finances and is a great help to Joe
in every way. She enjoys teaching English as a second language to adults.

They have 3 grown daughters and 5 grandchildren who are a special joy to
them although they don't get to see them very often.

Prayer Request:

More willing workers to come along side us and
the Lord's
continued blessing of health and strength.
