VPA PROGRAM DESCRIPTIONS If your child would like to be part of VPA, please fill out the attached pink registration form and circle the programs your child is interested in. We will need a separate registration form for each child. Please include payment along with the registration form. Elementary Chorus is open to students who enjoy singing, and would like to learn more about the fundamentals of singing with others. Rehearsal: Mondays 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. Grade: 2nd – 6th Middle School Praise Team is for any Middle School student who would like to sing or play an instrument and lead others in worship at our weekly Middle School Chapel. Rehearsal: Tuesdays 7:15 – 8:00 a.m. for instruments Fridays 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. for vocalists Fridays 7:30 – 8:00 a.m. for instrumentalists Grade: 6th – 8th Middle School Drum Line is open to boys with previous instrumental experience. Rehearsal: Wednesdays 7:15 - 7:50 p.m. VPA Art is an accelerated after school program where we can further explore the Elements of Art and applications that are taught in the classroom. The study is more specialized as students take each medium and technique to a higher level. Rehearsal: Wednesdays 3:15 – 4:15 p.m. Grade: 2nd – 8th Elementary Drum Line is open to boys who would like to learn how to play drums. Rehearsal: To Be Announced Grade: 5th Band is open to students who would like to learn a band instrument or has Rehearsal: Tuesdays 3:15 – 4:00 p.m. Grade: 3rd – 5th Tech Support is open to student’s who would like to learn and participate in behind the scenes areas such as sound, scene changes and lighting. Rehearsal: Fridays 3:15 – 4:00 (As needed before productions) Grade: 5th – 8th Theatre is open to student’s who would like to participate in various school productions as well as human video. |

| VPA Pickup: |
Please be advised that when you pick up your child from a VPA program, you must pick them up at the room they are meeting in. Students are not allowed to leave on their own. Also, we will only release children to those you have included on your pick up list. We will not release children to their siblings. If you are not there at dismissal time, your child will be escorted to extended care, and you can pick them up there. However, there will be an extended care fee. |
